That's narrowed it down to the model as far as i'm concerned. I'm assuming you used Milkshape, make sure all your group names are unique to your model,
mymodelgroup1
mymodelgroup2
and so on. Do the same with the textures for the MAT file. Out of curiosity, what format are you using for the textures?

my texture format is .tga
also, how do I upload files. I have my mod folder, mod script, milkshape model, and .3ds model in a .rar if you would like to take a look at my files.

You can't upload stuff onto this forum, but i use Filefront for all my stuff, there are other places you can use but i've never had any problems with Filefront. I can take a look, i'm no modeller but i can normally make things work as i tend to convert ships from 3DS into Milkshape a lot.

Doubt if it's the model, most crashes on bases are caused by typos in your code, check that the shiparch actually points to your model, the check the goods.ini points to the right ship nickname.

Hello!
I dont mean to interrupt the flow of discussion, but perhaps my question fits in with the talk of hardpoints.
I am adding, or trying to add, more hardpoints to the stock Anubis ship in normal FL, no mods, just for single play. Here is the scoop and issue.
Added the inactive gun mount above the cockpit, HpWeapon07. Works great!
Added the inactive torpedo launcher mounts under the wings. Works great!!
Both of the above also included the necessary entries into the shiparch.ini file.
Next endeavor..(issue)
Added two more gun hardpoints (HpWeapon08 and HpWeapon09) to mount on the base of the tail using HardCMP and added the necessary entries in shiparch.ini. No work!!
The two added gun hardpoints do not show up in my inventory list and do not show in game. However when viewing the saved game file, the hardpoints are there within the savegame file!!! Odd..isnt it! How can they show up in the save game file and not be showing up on the ship and inventory list to mount a gun there?!
Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!!
