Now if someone can explain to me how to run two mods on the same computer....... Regards, FD Hi FD. I have currently about 12 mods installed. All running nicely along. I wrote a tutorial a while ago on the BSG-Galactica forum. Here is it is: Requirements: A minimum extra 1.3GBs of Harddrive space for every second mod you wish to have installed. -------------- STEP ONE: CLEAN INSTALL First thing is to do a nice clean install of Freelancer. Some mods tend to leave stuff behind even if you do restore backups. 1. BACK UP YOUR ACCOUNT ID! 2. Go to Add/Remove Programs and uninstall Freelancer. 3. Go to your Freelancer install directory and delete all the left over files. 4. Reinstall Freelancer. STEP TWO: SETTING UP THE MODS First thing you need to do is chose which mod you wish to be the 'secondary mod'. Preferably, the secondary mod should be the one that would be updated the least. Because each time the mod requires an update, you might have to redo these steps. 1. Activate your Secondary Mod, with anything else that needs to go with it. 2. Go to the folder previous of your Freelancer Install Directory. (Default: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\) 3. Right click on the 'Freelancer' Folder and click copy. And then paste it in the exact same place so it creates a "Copy of Freelancer" folder. You can also just copy the content of the freelancer folder into the new folder you name after your mod. 4. Once the copy is done, rename the folder to the name of your mod. (Example: "Genesis Mod") 5. Open your new "Secondary Freelancer" folder, open the "EXE" folder, and find the Freelancer.exe. Right click on it and create a shortcut, then paste the shortcut on your desktop. 6. Open your Mod manager and restore backups, then activate you "First Choice Mod". Done! Two different mods installed at once, and both will run. That's all you have to do. Repeat the above steps if you want to run more than 2 mods. I have 12 mods installed this way and no problemo running them. Just make sure you create one Freelancer folder for each mod in My Documents-My Games. I use the mod name as a temporary extension, e.g. Freelancer.Gen. If I want to play Genesis mod, I just add an extension to the mod I played before and remove the Gen extension. I hope this helped. Thanks, mate - I'll give that a try :-D FD I came across some other ways how you can do it. Mainly by using FLMM. Install FL from scratch to make sure you have a clean installation. Then create empty folders naming them like the mods you want to install and copy the content of Freelancer directory into them. Extract the mod into FLMM and in Options select "Choose a different freelancer directory" and select the directory with your mod name. Now you can activate the mod using this directory. I never tried this method myself, but apparently this works just fine. Crusader
