WHen exporting a model in Milkshape to CMP, what does the scale down slider do to the model? Is 1.000000 the actual size of the model in milkshape?
Does a larger number mean the model will be bigger?

I tend to max the slider out, more out of habit than anything else. All the models i've worked on always end up too small anyway, so i just resize them using FLmodeltool to the size i want.

1.000000 means your exporting at a 1:1 ratio ie the size it is in Milkshape is the size it is in FL, the larger you make the number then the smaller your model is in FL, just remember to save settings or your scale won't be locked and you end up exporting at 92.000000 which makes for a very small model indeed.

So the larger the number the smaller the model? or would -50 be smaller than +50?

To export your model smaller it goes from 1.000001 to 100.000000 and every decimal place in between, to go larger it's 0.999999 to 0.000001 and every decimal place in between. I have no idea how you work out an exact scaling size, which is why I build everything to a 1:1 scale, saves on exporting countless times until you find the one you want.
