Since a lot of stuff is moved/changed in this mod is there a wiki or at least a rule of thumb to finding stuff?
Spending hours quartering systems with cruise drive is starting to annoy me. Especially when in some clouds you can miss a base/jump hole if you're not within 8 or 10 K of it.
Edited to add:
By rule of thumb I mean something like all stations/jump holes are within X distance of sun. Or all added content is placed in center of grid squares. Or changed content is only placed where old content was. Stuff like that.

Szia szerdi, angolul elmagyarazom mert nem beszelek valami jol magyarul Right, firstly, welcome and hope you're enjoying the mod. With regard to your questions, no wiki but i'm happy to help you out with some ideas as to what is going on. Phoenix firstly has a huge amount of graphical upgrades to original FL. I've replaced or added many missing items that should have been there from the start, (like the rings round the gas giants in New Tokyo), or the working prison ship models which should have been used in Alaska and Texas. Those are a few examples. I added in some new factions, a custom space creature that likes asteroids and lives in the Tau systems, the Fugitives faction who have three bases out in Omicron Alpha, Beta and Gamma which have some nice weapons and ships. Interspace Commerce now have ships that carry credit boxes that you can steal from them containing money. Loads of TOP SECRET items have been added for you to trade in which you get from wrecks and high level npcs. The STF (Simian Trade Faction) rule planet Primus and sell banana beer which makes the best trade run in the game. There are plenty of other new commodities to trade and new weapons to get. A lot of the new ships are used by existing factions so if you see one you like, goto their home base to get it. With regard to jumpholes and gates, all i've done is opened up all the original ones so travel is much easier, these are all in the same place as in normal FL. Only new ones are in the two Unknown systems. The 3 new Freeports are easy enough to find, Freeport 7 is back where it should be, Freeport 3 is along a well used tradelane and Freeport 8 is the only obscure one, down in one of the Bretonian systems, think the race. If you try multiplayer you will also get numerous new features including a dynamic economy and loads of other things which you are obviously welcome to try. There is a new version i'm releasing soon to help improve general gameplay and tidy up a few bugs. Hope this helps and if you need anymore info, just ask

Great summary of what you have put together. It certainly has peaked my interest. One thing I really like is the absence of the large cap ships. I have missed the fighter engagements which offered more action and skill as a pilot. Hope I will have the time to play like I want...

Hi scarz and welcome. Biggest ship you can fly is a gunboat and i've made sure that will only dock with planets that have a mooring fixture. There are plenty of capships in game, but npcs drive them. These include Nomads, the Order plus some of the larger pirate clans have them as well. Plenty to do and see, pop in when you have time or take a look at the video.

Thank you for fast and informative reply. I do very much enjoy the mod. The systems that really irked me were alaska and omicron minor. All that empty system space I expected to have something hidden in it.
I have found a lot of your nifty new stuff (like Simians). Thanks again!

Load up Freelancer Companion version 2.02. It will help a lot.It also imports in the dynamic economy so you can see the price changes.
Enjoy your stay,
