As the title suggests, anyone on here playing this? Been sucked into it a bit, currently trading away to fund my two fighters, more and more people showing up now, place is getting dangerous with all the pirates floating about.

Count me and Devarynn in!

Devarynn got the game this afternoon and I decided to go for it too. And it runs surprisingly well, althoh I only had time for a few training missions so far.
More tomorrow.

Today we put some serious time into the game.
We both also got the thrustmaster T Hotas joystick which really makes flying a lot easier.

I like it so far although it's not so multi olayer friendly as Freelancer, specially because we had numerous crashes of the game forcing me to testart.
I don't know why, seems that if you play in wings mode hings not always work well.
Also a few bad lags.

The ingame voice chat is really cool, giving that 'authentic' ship communication sound. We tried skype first, but my pc somehow wouldn't run the game in fullscreen mode anymore. Even teamspeak crashes the game when someone enters the room.

Atm we are not hat far from the starting point. Now somewhere near Ashimira if I'm correct.

Haha, already found it, and even bookmarked the place!

We're just hanging around discovering stuff, doing some boom runs and shooting wanted ships not very far from the starting area.
Somewhere around Zugen atm.

I saw a beautiful star with white shooting out on both ends, are those the neutron stars?

Is there also a search option in the galaxy map?

Yes it was a neutron star and yes there is a search function on the galaxy map
