After 15 hours of game time, this game is very stable. Only two small bugs that have already got fixes. Not only are the modifications of the old systems and addition of new systems great, the attention to detail is fantastic. No, it not currently available in multi play or LAN, but offers a lot of challenge and fun as it is. Many, many, thanks to Gibbon for this gaming opportunity.

Hi Gibbon Good to see you're back and the Genesis Mod is Great ,I love the re-sized planets..gives a real sense of space and a unique feeling to Freelancer that I don't find with any other mod. I wonder though would it be possible to up the cruise speed to 500 or maybe more,not a criticism just a suggestion.I very much look forward to playing this online one day. Great Mod Regards Vardek

vardekThe only difference online will be the fact that the cloaks will work and you will have various banking options and of course a fully working dynamic economy. Apart from that the two versions are identical. As to the cruise speed, you can change that yourself in singleplayer. Deactivate the mod first. It's in the contants.ini which lives in the DATA folder, look for this section, [EngineEquipConsts] CRUISE_DISRUPT_TIME = 5 MAX_DELTA_FX_THROTTLE = 0.25 THROTTLE_STEADY_TIME = 0.5 THROTTLE_ATTEN_MOD_RANGE = 8 DELTA_THROTTLE_ATTEN_MOD_CHANGING = 8 DELTA_THROTTLE_ATTEN_MOD_STEADY = -1 CRUISE_STEADY_TIME = 2 DELTA_CRUISE_ATTEN_MOD_STEADY = -1 CRUISE_ATTEN_MOD_RANGE = 8and add this line to the end, CRUISING_SPEED = 500Save the file, activate the mod and off you go. Remember it will screw up how the npcs behave as they are used to 300 which is the normal FL speed. scarzGreat review!

Because their cruise speed is almost double the original, you will see ships outrunning missiles for one thing. When larger ships come out of cruise, they will overshoot everywhere, leading in some cases to ships warping into planets because they can't stop in time lol.
The biggest issue will be weapons fire though as it will take ages to kill a ship, and the npcs are not the greatest shots. I improved their aiming but they're still useless against a human...unless its a group of high level ships, in packs they can be mean.
