rasetti, you are correct. There is a Texas Jump Hole in NY in the Badlands. It is located in grid 7/E (bottom middle of E). There are also 2 NY Jump holes in the same area and always have been. They take you from one area of NY to another area, crossing the trade lanes. One is located in 7/F and the other is in 6/G. Easy to get confused with the 3 of them...

scarz. I seem to have tracked the issue in Sigma 17. Only thing it can be is a patrol path as i suffered the same ctd as well, with or without setting a path on the navmap. The crash happens when you get near to the patrol path. I did fix a typo in one of them, so off to test it now.

Turns there were a couple of other issues all patrol path related. A typo for one of the Corsair paths and two more issues regarding the correct type of path for the Zoner and Corsair trade ships. Shows you how long its been since i last REALLY checked the code, that said, i'd never find any of these issues without help. The fix is easy, deactivate the mod in mod manager as usual, locate the Genesis mod in the mod manager mod folder and goto this path, DATA/UNIVERSE/SYSTEMS/BW06Replace the BW06.ini file with the one in the attached download. Activate the mod. I've been flying up and down there for the last hour with this file and no crashes, so hopefully all sorted Attachments:

There are a lot of patrol paths that i took out in New York. Stability was the issue, turns out i think they were actually ok to start with. The original problem with the Patriot and Defender caused endless crashes in Liberty, New York, California, Colorado, Texas and Alaska. So to that end, here's the file i made originally with all the custom patrol paths in for New York. Now the police will hassle you on a regular basis, especially if you are carrying contraband lol. Deactivate the mod in mod manager as usual, locate the Genesis mod in the mod manager mod folder and goto this path, DATA/UNIVERSE/SYSTEMS/LI01Replace the Li01.ini file with the one in the attached download. Activate the mod. I do suggest you backup the Li01 file already there just in case this replacement file causes issues but so far, not come across any. Attachments:

Hi Gibbon, not sure where to post this, so I do it here. Is it expected for the Rouges laser guns to be so powerful? Having a few Usiel, or even Drails, you can blow up quite easily pretty much anything . Also, I've found that the Vassago (the level 7 version of LR laser gun), makes less damage than the Drail (level 3).

Hmmm, you're quite right, had a look at the files and that certainly seems to be the case. I'll sort that out, can't have the Rogues running riot lol Here's an amended file with the correct values. Deactivate the mod in mod manager. Find the Genesis mod in your mod manager folder. Unzip the new file and replace the original with the updated one. It sits in the main Genesis folder. No idea where those values came from, must have had one too many banana beers! Thanks rasetti for finding this Attachments:

Thanks Gibbon, at the beginning I was getting excited about my super powerful laser weapons, but after a while it was quite boring

Hey Gibbon, I've already explored Liberty, the Independent worlds and part of Kusari, and I remember very few, if any, enemies using missiles against me. It's this something expected? If I remember correctly, in Phoenix, as soon as you leave Liberty you start seeing NPCs using missiles. The same goes for shield batteries and nanobots, they don't use them (although I can't remember how was it in Phoenix).

This time a very minor bug: There is a patrol path in the Kyushu system that crosses the whole system map diagonally, from A8 at the bottom left to H2 at the top right.

That's not a bug There are three systems that have that, it's where you occasionally see a sleeper ship flying past

Cool I was just reading the description for the "Alliance security" faction, and the thought crossed my mind

No worries, they will also cross your path in Kyushu, Edinburgh and Sigma 19. Back to bugs, found another one. There are cloaks in this mod which won't work in the OSP version but were defined for MP or multiplayer use. I forgot to deactivate them in the OSP version so here's a fix for the Anubis and the Valkyrie which will now allow you to fly around without the code for the cloak interfering. Deactivate the mod in mod manager, unzip the file in the download and goto this folder DATA\EQUIPMENT\Goods.iniReplace it with the one in the download Restart the mod. If you've already bought any one of these ships, you will have to purchase it again, sorry for the inconvenience Attachments:

And two more ships with cloaking issues, the Valkyrie II and the Nomad fighter. For the record, when i release the multiplayer version of Genesis, i will also do a new version of the OSP version with all the bugfixes plus a few more not mentioned here, so if you don't want to alter the files yourself, that's ok, an updated version will be available. Deactivate the mod in mod manager, and goto your Genesis folder and put these two files in the main Genesis folder, they will replace the ones already there. Attachments:

GIbbon, just to double check, is the issue about NPCs not using missiles, shield batteries and nanobots expected?
