I've decided to release a new version of Genesis in singleplayer format only. This will be called Genesis 1.2 OSP as it is the open single player version. This means you start just after the original campaign with 10k in your pocket.
Some time ago i did release a 1.1 version of this mod, but i really needed to upgrade it to the current 1.2 version with all the fixes etc. This will have a lot of the features of the mod currently on the server and will include the price randomizer code which will make the prices fluctuate throughout the game on everything including commodities, equipment and ship prices.
I've also made all the clan ship pachyderms in all their different liveries available to buy. These are spread out throughout the game.
Currently i'm testing this but should be ready for release towards the end of the month

Gibbon, I'm playing 1.2 OSP and love it, as always! However, I've bought an Anubis from Planet Toledo which appears to be invisible to bad guyz, which is awesome! But I can't fire my guns. How do I become visible again? I've tried every key combination I can think of. Just want to raid some wrecks in Omicron minor.

Ahh yes, that old chestnut. Sad to say it's my fault as i left in the cloak code for MP in the OSP version and it doesn't work in singleplayer. No way to enable/disable cloak code that i know of. So how to fix it? Well it affects three ships, the Valkyrie, Valkyrie II and the Anubis. I 'll upload the fixes here and then you can sort it out, as it's easy to fix. Firstly deactivate the mod and restore backups from the tools menu in mod manager. Next, goto this folder in the mod, Genesis 1.2 OSP/DATA/EQUIPMENTIn there you will find a file called Goods.ini, replace it with the new one i've attached in this post. The Valkyrie II file sits in the main Genesis 1.2 OSP folder. You will see a number of files with .xml at the end. Dump the Mancer Valkyrie II.xml file into here and replace the one already there. Reactivate the mod. If you already have any of the above ships, sell them, buy another ship, sell that and then purchase any of the above ships again. They will behave normally with no cloak activation, which is as it should be for singleplayer. Attachments:Mancer Valkyrie II.xml (5.99 KB)
Goods.ini (50.86 KB)

Registered just to thank you for both providing this OSP version of your excellent mod which is holding me over until Elite Dangerous and/or Star Citizen are finally out, and to thank you for providing this fix. I had just purchased a Valkyrie II and was most bummed when not only could I not shoot anyone with this most excellent looking fighter, I couldn't even SEE it! I will be applying these fixes now. Thank you again for all your hard work putting out a free product like this.

I've gotten a good week's love out of that Valkyrie II, but going to have to trade it in now that I've found the Tortuga system. Elite pirates all flying ships i've never seen before and nomads hanging about as well. I'm going to need something with a heavier punch. Sorry to geek out, but MAN I love this mod. ;-)

Thanks for the nice mod! There are a couple of problems (1.2 OSP): Requests reputation Liberty Rogues on Zoner base. New relationships: Zoner base - neutral, Universal Shipping - friendly, Samura - hostile. Take off, meet Samura transport and immediately all treat me with hostility and attack (and Zoner and Universal Shipping). What is the reason? Sorry for my bad english...

Hi dimmell,
I'm assuming you have taken a rep at a zoner base that helps you become a liberty rogue. This will alter your rep quite a lot. You start a little bit red with Samura anyway, it's how original FL starts you, something to do with the synthetic food they make which annoys other companies. If you then make that worse by getting in with the pirates, all this means is Samura will just hate you more
