That's an original vanilla bug, i'll see if i can do something about that I'm aware of the pirate gunboat problem, already fixed for the update. Can players NOT buy that as well until it's fixed. If you have one already, sell it please Hornviper weapons, fixed Stuttgart missions, looking into that Thorsen base, can't change that so have to live with it Will try these Leon missions, see if i can see the same thing Country music for Bounty Hunter bases - Never going to happen lol Before this thread derails into a mix of concepts and bugs, can we keep it to BUGS ONLY please A little heads up as well regarding the update coming soon. 1.2 will be primarily a bug fix update only, there's actually a whole bunch of minor things, some left over from vanilla which are difficult to trace unless someone mentions them. The primary goal of the 1.2 update is to fix things that are broken, most notably, ships, equipment, planets spinning etc. I have included turret zoom for those that want it, as i know some of you are pining for this, so now you have it. I start a new job on monday so my time is going to be limited. I know some of you want loads of new content which may or may not happen in the future. For now things will be more stable in 1.2, allowing more players to be able to play the mod. The trick is to find these players, so spread the word and start killing people lol. The gunboat problem,namely people using them as traders is not unexpected as i knew that would happen. There is only one solution to this. Some of the pirate clans need to start attacking these gunboat traders in numbers, 3 or 4 players at a time as that will slow down the players trading. The pirate clans need to start thinking like pirate clans and start blowing people up. It's too nice on here atm, and that needs to change, all within the rules of course

I headed from West Point toward California Gate this am, and either second or third trade Lane had lost the Activation Bar at the bottom. NPC's were going on through, but I had to go around.
I know these can often be re-set with F-1, Pick Toon, but that risks fine if and enemy happens along when you hit that key..;-)

Ship descriptions may be off. I bought a Simian fighter. The Coulga I think it's called. The description said max weapon class 9, but after I bought it I found it had class 10 gun mounts and shield mount. That made me happy, but if ship descriptions are off like that I might miss pass up a good ship due to false information. Could you look into reviewing the ship descriptions and making sure they are all accurate?

Which is why I was so happy with the ship. Silly me, I thought it was hard to hit for a reason unknown Concerning Hellhound's power core in battle test and ship's size, it can/should supply class 10 everything.

Crassie Docking to base helps too, but than another gate gets blocked same way (no status bar). And I noticed it's not blocked for NPCs that are already in trade lane pass. They pass through like it's all ok. I hope this can help a little.

As an answer to Pepe and dagger, if you check the Eagle for example that ship can mount class 10 but it says max class 9 in description, so nothing wrong there.

Crassie I'm afraid you are pointing at bad example, my friend. Eagle's got bad description too. Max class 9 means that class 10 is not supported (for both weapons and shields). It's easier when we don't have to buy some ship just to know what weapons it supports. That's why description was made for. One day all that descriptions we will publish at ship's catalog, I hope.

Last server I was on fined for F-1 with any combat, even if you were just passing through, and all combatants were green with the player who hit the key. Seemed that FLAC did not make any distinctions for who was doing the fighting.

As I was flying the Pachyderm, I discovered that it will not Dock on a Base like FP-10, or FP-9. It will dock at similar, such as Ames in Kepler. I am wondering if the Hydroponics Pods on the base interfere with the docking process?? It dock fine at similar structured bases with no Hydro Pods.
I Put it right in front of the door on FP-10, and when I clicked Dock, it started into the never ending Loop & Dive routine.
May not be a bug, but it is certainly a pain.

In situations like that pilot should use Turret View and shoot them all down. Maybe you did, so you know how useful it is. And be very careful not to hit a base. If they shoot their torpedoes + mines on you, use Counter Measures + guns, ofc. All projectiles are shootable when fired on you. Well, maybe gunboat missiles are not shootable, I'm still figuring that out, hehe. I'm telling you this only because I noticed majority of traders can not use Turret View. Guys, there is no excuse for NOT using Turret View if you have more than one turret.

I visited Omega-13. As I'm fascinated by black holes I was admired by the look of it. Than my equipment was burned off, all in second. It happened after about 10 minutes of exposure at cca. 18k distance from the black hole. Both jump holes and Merkel base are at the pretty same distance from that bitch.
I really think there is no need for so hard radiation there. And it's not fair if any player would like to roll-play Red Hessian. Generally, all home systems must be friendly to our equipment.
