As I was flying the Pachyderm, I discovered that it will not Dock on a Base like FP-10, or FP-9. It will dock at similar, such as Ames in Kepler. I am wondering if the Hydroponics Pods on the base interfere with the docking process?? It dock fine at similar structured bases with no Hydro Pods. I Put it right in front of the door on FP-10, and when I clicked Dock, it started into the never ending Loop & Dive routine. May not be a bug, but it is certainly a pain. It's being fixed for next version. Crassie

As an answer to Pepe and dagger, if you check the Eagle for example that ship can mount class 10 but it says max class 9 in description, so nothing wrong there. Crassie I'm afraid you are pointing at bad example, my friend. Eagle's got bad description too. Max class 9 means that class 10 is not supported (for both weapons and shields). It's easier when we don't have to buy some ship just to know what weapons it supports. That's why description was made for. One day all that descriptions we will publish at ship's catalog, I hope. You don't have to buy the ship to know what weapons it supports, select ship and have a look then just cancel the buy. Might be that Eagle is a bad example, but it's an example, the ship might be modified or the pilot found a bug to exploit Crassie

Hi I'm using Freelancer companion,and on its universe map there seem to be two Omicron Minors both with a planet Toledo in them but they are different systems with slightly different features as shown by Freelancer Companion.I have managed to get to the Omicron Minor on the right of Freelancer companion's universe map but slightly in to the left is another Omicron Minor and when I check for a route to it FC it says there is "no route to destination" is this a bug,cos I've been trying to get there for ages or are there hidden jump holes that Freelancer Companion just wont show? Any help appreciated Vardek

Hi Omicron Minor is not empty system,both Omicron Minor systems have planet Toledo.Companion works fine on Genesis,it does on mine anyway it also says "--------------------------- Fatal Error ! --------------------------- An error was found in your game or mods' files :
File solar\asteroids\li01_Pittsburgh_debris_field_001.ini not found
Please signal this problem to the author of the mod you activated
Press Ctrl-C to copy this information. Program will terminate now" So it seems to be working! Vardek.

But... that method of checking ship's performances is good just for us. It's bad for new players. They simply have no money to check the very best ships and they trust descriptions ofc. And we need fresh blood. SUGGESTION: I still warmly recommend to equalize all ships/equipment to just 2 classes: 1. LF with light classed equipment 2. and all the others with heavy classed equipment. Two easy-to-understand classes and many nice combinations on all that lovely ships we already have but never use because of class to low

Is part of the problem an effort to get a clearer distinction between: MAX and OPTIMUM? The ship card says MAX 9, and when looking at the ship in dealer, it clearly says Class 10. Max would be 10, but Optimum would be 9??

Is missing the word "Turret" in the item description Honshu Equipment Dealer. The item is worded the same as the Gun.

I understand that MAX is the max class possible to mount, but dont say how fast will deplet your energy. The OPTIMUM is the max class that fire all weps with no or near no energy drain... I never follow these infos,because the specs of ships are modified and the modder just forget to update the infocards... I just buy the fighter and start to test a group of weps. Most common is to set weps that ship's powerplant support 5 or 6 seconds shooting with all weps...

At Sigma19, found wreck inside planet Hiran. Let me grab loot that one!!!!!! I just found this, and thought I would check to see if it was reported already. Looks Like you beat me to it. Wreck is still 4 K from the player as you enter into the planet atmosphere. That does make it hard to reach...

Losing guns and other equipment in 2-3 little explosions is not fun. I hate to quit combat with full health of my hull and more than half load of nanobots. Please, balance that.
It's hardly possible to enjoy missions or PvP this way.

I would agree, Items mounted should have a bit more durability before being dropped into oblivion. Maybe hire a better welder to mount weps, and get a better quality of Super Glue for the licenses.

I just tried a mission from bship rio grande. the mission terminated inside the planet. I guessed this from the map but of course had to go and see if i died. i did mission failure.
ps i would love to see fast docking hehe, I have docked the pachyderm on fp 9 and 10 in OSP. and yes its a pain and you need to position it just right.
query when do you have to buy a licence, I like being a freelancer and exploring first, often in a freighter. (pachyderm at moment)
can you buy the bugged ship at other bases or should i wait.
trade lane failures are a coding error in the vanilla game and a feature of all mods i have played. yes i would like to see better glue on the weapons etc. i too have lost them and hate that especially when its just upgraded. often its the cm that goes first. still enjoying it so far, have been mainly in Liberty but ventured into rheinland for upgrades much to my chagrin i forgot about my rep hehe.
