Not sure if its a bug or just a balance but its hard to get a corsair reputation. I have corsair as last position at rep list. If I do missions for corsairs, I get reputation with xenos, then I start to kill xenos to decrease rep and do again missions and... nothing! Corsair rep dont go to flash and I cant get this affiliation... I tried to kill bretonia police/army but the affiliation dont come... and whats happen? I get outcast rep...
I would like to see my IFF flashing shiny CORSAIR!!!!!! :-)
Edited: Its possible to allow the command /droprep? It help alot to manage the reputations...

I see that Corsair problem in other ways too.
The Blood Enemy of the Corsairs, the Outcasts, offer me bribes for Corsairs all the time. (I have seen numerous offers for this from Outcast NPC's)
I also kill some Outcasts to try and get Corsairs up some, and they are, (or seem to be), resistant to that change.

Bribes dont up your rep at 100%, maybe at 70-80% only, then you need to increase it with kills or missions.

It has always been close to impossible in vanilla to get your rep up to flashing. So not a bug, I might have to have a talk with Gibbon if we should offer to sort out rep for those that want to get very heavy in with a faction. Though that would mean extra work for us Admin Crassie

I just tried a mission from bship rio grande. the mission terminated inside the planet. I guessed this from the map but of course had to go and see if i died. i did mission failure. ps i would love to see fast docking hehe, I have docked the pachyderm on fp 9 and 10 in OSP. and yes its a pain and you need to position it just right. query when do you have to buy a licence, I like being a freelancer and exploring first, often in a freighter. (pachyderm at moment) can you buy the bugged ship at other bases or should i wait. trade lane failures are a coding error in the vanilla game and a feature of all mods i have played. yes i would like to see better glue on the weapons etc. i too have lost them and hate that especially when its just upgraded. often its the cm that goes first. still enjoying it so far, have been mainly in Liberty but ventured into rheinland for upgrades much to my chagrin i forgot about my rep hehe. I'll inform Gibbon about the Rio Grande problem. The docking issue is being sorted for next version. Freelancers don't need a license as they are not RP, only tagged players need. Check the RULES. Wait with the bugged ships. Crassie

I never realized that did not work well in the vanilla... this is not so important if it means a lot of work, but it would be nice if the licenses would work together with the affiliation / reputation. Recalling that the licenses are easily lost...
